Today I just can’t get over how great things are in my life. Today I’m doing research for a paper that I’m really excited to write that’s not due for 2 weeks, and it’s just a treat. Living alone means I control my own distractions. I think I’ll make chili and cornbread tonight. Of course I need a social life sometimes, but on days like this it’s such a delight to think that I won’t use my voice at all. I’ll finish the day with an episode or two of The West Wing and reading some fiction. Maybe buy some Christmas presents online if I’m in the mood.

It doesn’t get better!
