notes Teacher’s College?Okay, so everybody says there are no high school teaching jobs in Ontario. But can it be worse than trying to find a job after getting a philosophy phd?
I’ve done tonnes of volunteer work in teaching-related areas, but never really considered teaching as a career until I read this book and cried through the whole thing. Majorly inspiring.
So the question is… should I go to teacher’s college? Would I ever find a job?

My parents are (still) supplies and say (dunno if it’s true across Ont) most HS teachers who are waiting only have BAs. Math/Sci, you’re in.

It’s though out there for teachers to-be, but tougher for Philosophy graduates. Both are risky, but teaching I think has better chances. :)
