Just paid my last tuition (of my [first?] undergraduate degree) of my life!
Never talk about an exam after it's finished
Me: I was running out of time until I realized you can just ignore half the beam if you only need to find the stress state of point A!
Katie: on the first question?
Me: yeah
Katie: No, you were supposed to find the displacement at A
Me: pretty sure it asked for the stress state at A
Katie: those are completely different questions. One of us did it totally wrong.
Me: ... THIS SUBJECT IS CLOSED.
Conversation after dinner
Kathleen: I'm going to make cookies. Any specific type?
Me: LSAT cookies
Ian: bean cookies
Ryan: oatmeal
Kathleen: we don't have any oatmeal
me: chocolate chip
Ryan: ginger snap
Ian: five bean cookies
Ryan: slightly chewy
me: that don't crumble when you eat them
Ryan: and they stay warm forever
